You should be able to select Window > UBER Network Fuser after you click the red X so you can bring it back. That or just make it so when you click the red X it actually closes the application.

Re: Breaking new ground : An UBER Tool for the Mac

Cool App. I would like to see the ability to modify the DHCP range for NAT connections.

Looks like there is a bug that if you have the network editor open and have Default NAT selected and you have Fusion open, then you close Fusion the buttons for DHCP/NAT/Virtual Adapter become click-able.

Re: The late recap post : AKA Top 7 things I learned in 2011

I believe the key to development is knowing you need to know more. -Well said Nick. I just came across your blog from the EMC blog section and really enjoyed this post. Congrats on doubling page views and unique visits.

Re: vSphere Mini Monitor : Now With More Cowbell!

I downloaded and installed it on my Windows 7 x64 laptop. When I go to launch it, it tells me that this is the first time I've run it, and prompts for my VC info and credentials. As soon as I click "Enter" it crashes. This happens every time I attempt to run the program.

Re: New UBER Model : UBER VNX (NFS) v1

I am using the powerlink updated for this year. They work well but some issues with user admin. CIFS and NFS work great. They even have a dual data mover version, but it needs 4gb ram to start up vs the 2gb for the single data mover version. Hit me up on email if you have any questions norman.toro@emc.com. Best wishes

Re: Quick Update : UNF version 1.701

Yes, I don't release source for most all of my projects. Two reasons:
1) I work for a company that frequently reuses my code
2) My company partners with a companies (in this case VMware) who can reuse my code.

I am sharing the source with VMware who are eager to see if it *might* be useful for future Fusion updates.

I am not against OSS - but I am not always in a position to release. But, the flip side is everything on my site is free and open to use commercially if you want (minus ANY support).

Nick

Re: Quick Update : UNF version 1.701

Hi, is there a specific reason why the source code isn't available ?

Re: New UBER Model : UBER VNX (NFS) v1

Nick, it's now January 2012.
