I just imported the VNX ova into ESXi 5.1. Boots up fine, I can go through the setup. When I navigate to it via url the applet loads, (EMC spinner) but Unisphere does not load. I don't even get to a login prompt. I have given the vm 4gb of ram. Any ideas?

Re: Play it again, Sam: Celerra UBER v3.2

hi..may I know how do you solve this issue?

Re: Lights, Camera, Replication : UBER SRM Video Guide

Really nice video. Most of basic concepts are present in one of the products I worked in the past called HP Server Automation. The discovery part is similar there too - done using PXE. The tag is equivalent to HP SA Dynamic Device Group. Model is HP SA OS Build Plan. SA is mature (10+ years) and proven for scale, distributed architecture including satellites hosting OS images for better throughput. But it's heavy and comes with a full server lifecycle support not just bootstrapping machines. What Puppet can do is done by software policies in SA.

We actually extended automated bare metal provisioning for VMs in a PXE-less environments including solving of automatic (static IP) assignment! This was based on many enterprise customers having reservations to run dhcp in their production data centers.

Things different are simplicity, broker hand-off, open-source to name a few.

With vendors coming up with individual provisioning solutions (vmware auto deploy etc) and template based approaches for VMs, it would be interesting to see how this flies.

Nonetheless, a cute masterpiece as usual!

Re: How to UBER : New Celerra UBER VSA Guide

Hi,
I need a download link for VSA Guide, i am unable to download from Scribd as it requires premium membership.

Re: Breaking new ground : An UBER Tool for the Mac

The link to this tool appears to be dead ??

Re: Breaking new ground : An UBER Tool for the Mac

Hi Nick, is the tool still available?
